Do you have some people who occupy your thoughts here and there but you hardly speak any more? Last conversation if you recall would be half or a whole decade ago? Yet some people just stay in our energy as memories.
You feel like talking to them again? May be. What will you talk about but? How life has been since then? How geo politics and weather have shifted? How your places and schedules have transformed? How priorities have changed? And then? Silence would take over again……
You hate or love those people? Or may be they just exist with some good or bad memories, which are fading away slowly.
They must have been faded by now. But some rocks take longer to become soil. You wish something for them? A good time together again? A good fortune for them? A life full of giggles? A few pals close like you?
May be life would throw another chance to be together again. Like in the same hostel? In the same colony or at the same work place…to share some more beautiful memories and then bid a peaceful closure where attachment does not linger any more.
What would you wish for? Another beautiful string of memories with a peaceful goodbye or a forever till the universe ends?
But nothing lasts till then. And that is why may be what you are living today is that beautiful adieu with some blissful memories.
